- Covers the replacement parts only.

- Covers both the cost of replacement parts and the labor required for their installation for 180 days.
- Covers the cost of replacement parts and the labor required for their installations for 12 months.
- Covers both the cost of replacement parts and the labor required for their installations for 36 months.
Road Tested Parts Limited Warranty Terms
All parts sold by Road Tested Parts, LLC or any of its subsidiaries (heretofore all known as RTP) are accompanied by a Silver warranty. This limited warranty is provided to the original purchaser, is valid for 180 days from the date of the original sale (the “Warranty Period”) and does not include any labor coverage. Extended warranties, if purchased, are available on select parts for either 12 or 36 months. Additional labor coverage is also available for an additional cost. Please consult your salesperson for additional warranty options. Sheet metal has a limited lifetime replacement warranty for rust-through corrosion. The following terms and conditions apply to all parts purchased from Road Tested Parts, LLC:
- All warranties are valid for the original purchaser This warranty is non-transferable.
- RTP warrants all parts and products supplied to be free from defects in materials or workmanship and such warranty is not an unconditional guarantee against all failures or hazards, including latent defects or improper installation. RTP specifically make no warranty as to the suitability of any part or product for any particular purpose or application.
- RTP must be notified immediately if any defect is discovered during the Warranty Period. Improper installation by the customer or its designees and any repair, including but not limited to removing the part, that is initiated without prior authorization will void the warranty obligations of RTP.
- RTP reserves the right, at its sole option and discretion, to repair, replace, or refund the purchase price of any part for which it receives a valid warranty claim during the Warranty Period.
- The original receipt must be presented for returns, credits, or warranty claims.
- RTP does not cover or reimburse for the loss of time, inconvenience, loss of vehicle use, towing, lift or storage expense, rental vehicle or other transportation charges, or any other consequential expenses associated with RTP warranties.
- RTP will accept returns of non-defective parts ordered in error or incorrectly within 30 days of the original date of purchase, provided such returned parts are undamaged and in their original unopened packaging (with all accessories intact). It is the customer’s responsibility to ship such parts back freight and insurance prepaid. All non-defective parts returned may be subject to retesting at RTP’s discretion and will be subject to a restocking fee of 25% of the original purchase price.
Road Tested Parts Extended Warranty Terms
- All Extended Warranties:
- Warranty is one time payout / one time replacement.
- Labor payouts are capped at the lesser of:
- Max Labor Payout Per Warranty Plan
- All Data Book Time X Flag Time (Capped at 125/hr)
- Silver+ / Gold + Max Labor Payout:
- Large mechanical $750
- Small mechanical $150
- Platinum+ Max Labor Payout:
- Large Mechanical $1500
- Small Mechanical $250
Other Conditions
- Engines are sold as long blocks.
- Items such as, but not limited to, intake manifolds, exhaust manifolds, water pumps, wiring, sensors, thermostats, hoses, seals, timing belts, spark plugs, injectors, distributors, throttle body/valve gaskets, crank seals, and cam seals are not warranted.
- Water pump and thermostats must be replaced.
- It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure these accessories are inspected and/or replaced upon installation.
- Proper fluid use and fluid levels must be maintained at all times.
- Head gaskets are warranted to be in proper working condition.
- Leaks are not covered; seals and gaskets must be replaced.

- Gaskets, seals, and external electrical related parts are not warranted.
- It is the responsibility of the customer to inspect and/or replace these items at the time of installation.
- Transmissions must have new filters installed and be serviced to factory specifications.
- Leaks are not covered; seals and gaskets must be replaced.
- Proper fluid use and fluid levels must be maintained at all times.
- Coolant lines must be flushed and cleaned at the time of installation. Failure to do so voids warranty.

- Warranty applies to the gear set, housing, axle shafts and hubs.
- There is no warranty on brakes or brake hardware.
- Gaskets, seals, and external electrical related parts are not warranted.
- It is the responsibility of the customer to inspect and/or replace these items at the time of installation.
- Proper fluid use and fluid levels must be maintained at all times.

Freight Costs
In the event of a warranty claim, regular freight costs are guaranteed and refundable. Expedited freight charges (next day air, 2nd day air, 3rd day air, etc.) are not warranted and are the responsibility of the customer. No freight refunds will be paid on part returns or credits due to customer error.
Conditions That Void Warranty
- Improper installation or handling which leads to part failure.
- Installation of part(s) in any non-stock application (racing, conversion, off-road, etc.)
- Dismantling of part(s) for any reason without permission from RTP.
- A melted heat tab voids warranty. Further, tampering or removal of heat tabs on engines voids warranty.
- Accidents, abuse, neglect, damage as a result of improper installation, alteration or improper maintenance.
